To provide supervision and coordination of residential supports and services, operating under the guidelines of the State of TN Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. This position will act as liaison between Residential staff and administration for the day to day operations of the sites this position is assigned to support.

  1. Participation in ISP meetings and COS for the service recipients assigned to his/her area.
  2. When appropriate assist in briefing each new PC that he/she mentors on the proper etiquette and expectations of attending ISP and COS meetings when representing SP that supported by Support Solutions.
  3. Ensuring that TSN are completed for all staff before they work with any service recipient. Coordinate any behavior or therapy training for new staff entering the SP home consistently. Communicate this task to any new PC that he/she mentors and ensure that task has been completed until new hire has mastered this expectation.
  4. Ensure the prompt implementation of service plans, BSP, therapy plans and ISP goals for those persons he/she is directly supporting and communicate this information to the newly hired Program Coordinators he/she mentors.
  5. Ensure that three visit and site check requirement is met and documented. Review newly hired PC documentation and ensure this policy is being adhered to until new hire has mastered task.
  6. Review and approve staff schedules and SP activity calendars. Communicate agencyís goals to newly hired PC he/she mentors concerning staff schedules and activity calendars.
  7. Review daily notes weekly and ensure monthly summaries for each SR assigned to this position is completed. Work cooperatively with the Records  Department to ensure content of notes are relevant to the SPís ISP and  communicate to newly hired PC that he/she mentors the importance of this review, as well as monitor their progress of programmatic task, until mastered.
  8. Ensure that training requirements for his/her position is completed in a timely manner and likewise for all staff assigned under this position.
  9. Ensure that staff meetings and DSP are conducted monthly or weekly if needed. Maintain notes for those meetings so that SP and DSP can follow up on problem areas.
  10. Assist with transitions and admissions to all programs that Support Solutions provides.
  11. Encourage high productivity, commitment and cooperation by sharing information through candid, clear and timely communication.
  12. Contribute to the smooth administration of Support Solutionsí services by performing other duties/task as assigned.


Bachelorís Degree; an exception may be approved by the CEO based on length of service, work history, etc.. Must have a minimum of three (3) years of supervisory/ managerial experience; Excellent communication skills and self -directed responsibility to support the supported persons and staff members assigned to them. Must have the desire and skills to mentor Home Managers hired by SSTN to ensure companyís philosophy is understood and adhered to by each new Program Coordinator hired by SSTN. Must have a valid driverís license and maintain a valid driverís license and acceptable driving record throughout employment with SSTN. Must meet state and local requirements regarding criminal background check, sexual offender check, abuse registry, and felony offender list. Must meet all training requirements and keep training current
