Residential Home Manager

Location: Murfreesboro, TN


Performs necessary duties associated with the review/auditing of service recipient records to include training employees on proper protocols and procedures related to records maintenance.


  1. Enter Service Recipients data.
  2. Completes Medicaid Waiver Recertification and SSA packets accurately and timely to ensure continuation of funding.
  3. Schedule and track all medical and therapy appointments, as well as follow-up (contact notes). Assist with maintaining medical and therapy grids and agency’s follow-up.
  4. Forward medical consults to the ISC and CSN in a timely manner.
  5. Ensure that the Program Director, nursing, home managers, service recipients and program coordinators are aware of medical and therapy appointments for the service recipient he/she supports. Attends medical appointments to assist\staff and insure quality information is secured.
  6. Provides assistance to individuals supported, in major medical emergencies with a follow-up report to the Program Director.
  7. Assist service recipient with accessing community resources i.e. utility assistance, food stamps, social security benefits and insurance.
  8. Assures that all documentation is legible, dated and authenticated by signature.
  9. Serve as the primary liaison for the service recipient and his/her ISC agency. Complete and forward service plans and Monthly Reviews to the appropriate parties and insure the plans reflect the progress of the service recipient.
  10. Maintain residential records, travel packs and comprehensive records. (Filing and upkeep).
  11. Attend the service recipient’s annual ISP meetings and COS meetings as needed. Document meetings outcomes and review each ISP draft for errors or erroneous services. Contact ISC for corrections expeditiously.
  12. Ensure that weekly and monthly documentation is reviewed and filed in a timely manner. Including “monthly reviews’ from each home manager and then forwarded to ISC agency for service recipient support.
  13. Maintains medical and therapy grids for service recipients supported by SSTN.
  14. Provides training to DSP staff regarding ISP visions, outcomes, action steps and daily shift notes.


High School Diploma and two (2) years related experience. Preference may be given to person experienced in the field of developmental disabilities. Strong computer skills to include proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs. Knowledge in the use of scanners, faxes, copiers and other general office equipment. Willingness to travel to other company locations utilizing personal vehicle.
